The Crocus can provide refreshments stalls at festivals and is keen to have a stall at community events such as local activity days and fairs.
Venue Hire:
Hire out the cafe in the evenings/weekend for events/parties for only £30 (plus £20 returnable deposit) with optional chef hire on top (Oct 2009 prices).
Buffet service:
Perfect for business event buffets. Only £5 per head for veggie buffet food (pizza, sandwiches, pakoras etc), drinks optional on top. Pick up food yourself or ask for the optional ‘green’ courier service which delivers for another £10 within 5 mile radius (Oct 2009 prices).
Projects
1) Thursday night project.
Every thursday evening The Crocus Cafe is open 7-10pm, serving the usual delicious food and drinks and there will be entertainment too! The usual monthly calender includes
- Board Games Night – Scrabble and a salad, chess and a coffee or a puzzle and a panini – we’ve got the lot! (1st Thursday)
- Restaurant Night - Offering a scrumptious 3 course set menu for just £8 (each course will have a vegan option.) (2nd Thursday)
- Arts and Crafts – Bring down your knitting, sewing, paints etc… chat, relax and share some ideas. (3rd Thursday)
- Acoustic night – Supporting the local music scene this night is always a lot of fun. Get in touch if you want to play! (4th Thursday)
2) Start your own project.
One of the reasons Crocus cafe was set up was to provide a space and support network for new community projects. We will use any resources and experience we have to help you set up your own! There are a few projects that used to take place that meed someone to take them on including Crocus newsletter and film night or contact the cafe with your own ideas!
